How do I know what to book?

I’ve tried to simplify booking by narrowing things down to two main color services and their maintenance appointments.

If you’re looking for highlights, balayage, babylights, or dimensional blonding, book “Lived-In Color.”

If you’re looking for vivid or creative color, book “Lived-In Vivids.”

Do you offer consultations?

Yes! If you want to chat before committing to a full appointment, I do have a consultation that is bookable. The price of the consult will be deducted from total of the future appointment you decide to book with me.

Consultations are always required for corrective work. This gives us space to discuss goals, maintenance, timing, and what’s realistically achievable for your hair while keeping integrity in mind.

I can do a virtual consultation through text & instagram.

How often will I need maintenance?

Maintenance varies depending on your goals, lifestyle, and the type of color you’re looking for.

All lived-in color is designed to evolve softly as your hair grows out, meaning it can still look intentional between appointments.

If you prefer the look of freshly toned or extra vibrant color, refresh appointments can always be booked sooner.

Do you offer grey coverage?

Absolutely. If you want to use permanent color to cover your grey hair that can be added onto any lightening service for an additional charge.

What if I don't want high-maintenance hair?

Cool, neither do I honestly. I always take your real life, routine, and maintenance preferences into account when creating your color.

Low-maintenance doesn’t have to mean boring hair.

How long do appointments usually take?

Depends on the service and the hair type I'm working with. I've given approximate times for each service but it can change from client to client.

Do you work with vivid / creative color?

Yes! In fact, I consider “lived-in vivids” to be the throughline of my work; combining dimensional color and creative color placement in a way that grows out well and feels easier to live in.

Can I go lighter in one session?

It depends all on your current canvas and the state of your hair. Healthy, realistic results will always take priority over rushing the process.

The reality is some looks require multiple sessions.

Why are services package-priced?

All services are priced to reflect the time, products, treatments, and customization needed for the overall experience. There are certain parts of the service I consider non-negotiable when it comes to maintaining the integrity of your hair, so those details are already built into the pricing.

How should I arrive to my appointment?

Please arrive with relatively clean (day 2 hair is okay) dry hair. The idea that dirty hair is better for lightening services is honestly old news; modern color tends to perform best on clean hair.

Do you offer silent appointments?

Absolutely! Please leave me a note when booking if you want a silent appointment.

What if I’m nervous coming to a new salon?

I totally get it. Walking into a new salon can feel intimidating, especially if you’ve had a bad experience before.

If it would help you feel more comfortable, in-person consultations can absolutely be arranged before your appointment.
